Choir

At St Michael and St Wulfad’s we are fortunate to have a skilled choir who sing at the weekly 11.00 Eucharist on a Sunday, singing the Mass setting and regularly performing Anthems throughout the year.  

If you have ever wanted to sing in a choir, why not give it a go?  Rehearsals take place in church on Friday evenings 7pm – 8.00pm, and we are always available to chat with anyone interested in joining the choir. Interest from all voice parts is welcomed!

Organ

St. Michael & St. Wulfad’s is truly blessed to have a 3-manual 54 speaking stop Phoenix Digital Organ. In 2003 the church’s pipe organ was condemned and a 2 manual Allen Digital Organ was purchased to replace it. In 2021, the Allen organ was deteriorating so the church pursued a search for a replacement. In March 2022, the Phoenix Organ was installed. The instrument has a concert specification and is effective in performing all repertoire convincingly, as well as accompanying the choir and leading large congregations.

The organ can be heard at every Sunday 11.00 Eucharist.
