 Covid-19 relaxations in church

St Michael & St Wulfad’s Stone and St Saviour’s Aston

We still await Government advice re-Places of Worship, but our Wardens and Ministry Team have agreed that, from Sunday 25th July 2021

We will begin singing at our services: this will be from printed sheets, which we ask you to take away with you or to dispose of, so nobody else needs to handle them

We will advise people to wear a mask in church as it remains an enclosed space

We will keep Social distancing within our buildings

We will not be serving drinks in church until we feel it is safe to do so

We will remain offering Communion in one kind only, for the time being

We shall phase out the current weekly sheet and replace it with the former Pewsheet with readings for the Sunday

Service words will remain to be shown upon the screens in Church

We will review these things as time goes by and the trend of the infections becomes clear. For the moment we shall continue to offer the Sunday afternoon Zoom service and to record and broadcast a service each Sunday on the internet

Thank you for your help and understanding with these restrictions. We all wish to be free, but it is plain that the virus has not gone away!

If you come into church, please can you keep your distance with everyone, log in to “track and trace”, use the hand sanitiser and avoid conversations inside the building.

And in the meantime our prayers are with you all and the team continue to record an act of worship for you to follow each week on www.stmichaelschurchstone.co.uk, our Facebook pages and on theIan Cardinal Channel of YouTube.                                                               Ian Cardinal

Lord of all power and might, the author and giver of all good things:

graft in our hearts the love of your name,

increase in us true religion, nourish us with all goodness,
