SERVICE SHEETS, BOOKS AND HYMNBOOKS. We do wish to be careful about this and will ask you to return them to a table at the rear of Church, rather than sidespeople putting them away immediately.
REFUGEE DONATIONSA donation point has been set up on Stone High Street for people wishing to donate items to Afghan refugees arriving in the UK. 6 Stone High St, ST15 8AW – The collection point is located on the intersection with Stafford Street at the bottom of the High Street. Donations can be made Monday-Friday between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm, please contact Steve Walley by email to drop off donations outside the normal opening hours: steve.walley@stonetowncouncil.gov.uk
These donations will go to the Afghan Community & Welfare Centre but if any other local centres need help, please let Steve know by email.
WHAT IS NEEDED: Clothes, Shoes, Blankets, Toys, Rice, Lentils, Beans, Dried Food, Cutlery and other household essentials.
HARVEST SUPPER Aston Village Hall on October 2nd. This will be a “bring and share” event – more details still to come, but save the date. The Speaker will be the Rev’d Jim Cartlidge
This Sundaywe say our farewells to Rev’d Alison Hudson, as we give thanks for her Ministry here over the last 3 years. Alison will be inducted as Rector of the villages including Gnosall on October 6th – more of that to come
This Sunday afternoon we celebrate with her at Afternoon Tea in St Michael’s Hall, with an opportunity to say hello properly, also, to the Rev’d Jim Cartlidge. Make sure you have your place booked with Nichola Abbott on 814134

LADIES GROUP RECOMMENCESWednesday 22nd September. For this first “outing” this is planned to be an “afternoon tea” – take away in St Michael’s Community Hall, at the cost of £15 per person. ST. MICHAEL & ST. WULFAD'S HERITAGE DAY - 2nd October from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. We are again holding the above event in aid of much needed church funds. Volunteers are needed to welcome visitors, show them around or help with refreshments.
We would also welcome cakes, jams etc for a stall and also cakes for the refreshments. If you are able to help with any of these please sign the list at the back of church. Thanks.
