DROP INN CAFÉ is now closed for 2 weeks, reopening April 26th. Can we say again how much we appreciate the ladies who look after our needs on a Tuesday lunchtime?

 

EASTER LILIESEaster just 2 weeks away – if anyone wishes to purchase a lily in memory of a loved one, please see Norma at St Michael’s or Christine at St Saviour’s. Donations towards other Easter flowers would, of course be very welcome

 

What is the most expensive present you have ever been bought? Is it something you treasure and value? Or are you rather put off by the cost? Imagine owing a fur coat – only to discover the small hole where the animal that produced it had been shot so you can wear it! e can be easily embarrassed by such things

            Are you feeling brave?  Probably not – after all, anyone that begins by asking “Can I ask a favour?” usually puts us on our guard. As Clergy we are often warned about people that begin by asking you to keep total silence about something they are going to tell you: although the seal of the confessional binds, if it is a crime (say, child abuse) that they are about to confess, one has a legal duty to protect those who are in danger
