The Parish Churches of

St Michael & St Wulfad, Stone, with

St Saviour Aston by Stone

CHRISTIAN AID SPONSORED WALKat Tittesworth reservoir – Saturday 24th March starting 10am. At least one of the King family is planning to undertake this – extra walkers are welcome, but SPONSORS are needed for this worthy cause!

THIS SATURDAY (MARCH 3RD) St Michael & St Wulfad’s will be open from 10am till 12 Noon for viewing of the seal. If you can help to volunteer, please see Jean Sutton. Next month our “Open days” resume in force on the First Saturday of the month

Have you a Pastoral heart? Can you listen to others & remember we have two ears and only one tongue? Could you offer a little time each month in the service of the Lord?

If so, maybe you could join a Pastoral visiting Team. On Thursday 8th we are holding a “Bring and Share lunch” in St Michael & St Wulfad’s so that we can talk through some of the issues involved. The aim would be to develop our skills and “catch” some of the people who experience the Ministry of the Church in a rather more efficient way

You don’t have to be the Archangel Gabriel! And I am sure that some will find the notion intimidating – but the need is immense. Why not come and see what is proposed – and I can promise that we can take on as much or as little as we have time for

Hope to see you there!
