Aston Christmas Fair is Nov 24th, Stone Coffee Morning on Dec 1st. Both of these run a tombola and items for both are needed:- please give them to Mary Babb at Aston and to Jean Sutton at Stone; Also Cakes etc.  Would be warmly welcomed – thank you in advance

STIR UP SUNDAY : Sunday 25th November. Christine Connolly is once again organising the making of the Christmas Pudding. If you wish to purchase one, please complete the order form which you will have been given with your pew sheet this morning. The cost is £4.50 a pint. Please remember to bring your bowl!! Thanks to Christine for organising this mammoth task!

CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL: Friday 30th Nov – Sun 2nd Dec. We are looking for volunteers to man the church, provide refreshments etc during the weekend. We need a minimum of 3 people in church at any one time. If you can help, please sign the list at the back of church. Thank you.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Can you help? Due to losing a couple of members from the rota, we are in need of some volunteers for the coffee rota. It would be a shame if we had to go back to once a fortnight like we used to do. The more volunteers we have, the less frequently you will need to do it. We are also looking for Sides people. If you can help with either of these roles please speak to Nichola. Thank you.

SHOE BOXES Mary Babb would like to thank everyone who donated shoe boxes for the Operation Christmas Child. This year, 53 shoe boxes were donated. A great effort.

PARISH DIARIES Pick up your 2019 diary now - £2.50 donation

LADIES MEETING:Our next outing is Christmas lunch at Bridgemere on Thursday 13th December. Please see Steph for more details and to book your place

ADVENTIVITYThis involves a Nativity Set travelling around the Parish from family to family during Advent, symbolising the journey Mary and Joseph made to Bethlehem. The journey begins on Advent Sunday 2nd December and ends in church at the Crib Service at 4pm on Christmas Eve. The family changes hands every 24hrs, and we ask that you arrange the receipt of and handing over. If you would like to take part or would like to know more, please contact Dennis Abbott on 07866 341111.
